School/Community/Volunteer Activities:
Hobbies: My favorite hobby would be volleyball, of course! I am also a very artistic person, so I like to draw, make collages, get inspiration from magazines, paint, etc. Decorating cakes is also very fun for me. Camping/Fishing is amazing. If I could live out in the country, by a lake for the rest of my life, I would do it in a heart beat.
Goals:
Role Models: My biggest role models have to be my parents. I know that a lot of people might say this, but my parents truly are my hero’s. When my mother and father came to the United States and had me they started out with nothing. My dad was in the Army and my mother barely knew English. So everything was a struggle for them. But when I look at them now, it’s hard to imagine that they had nothing. We don’t have any family to look to when things are bad. My mother’s family is in Germany and my father’s family is in Michigan, so we have to help each other. My parents are my inspiration because they are a living fact that with motivation you can overcome anything. I love them so much, and they mean the world to me. They taught me to never give up, always keep my head high, work for what I truly want, and go for what I believe in. Words can never describe how much they have taught me. Without them I don’t know what I would do.
